Sheldon H. Wagner, Ph. D., Co-Executive Producer of Real Families. Dr. Wagner is the Director of Behavioral Development and Educational Services LLC, a consulting service aimed at working with developmentally or behaviorally challenged children and their families. Dr. Wagner studied and wrote with Jean Piaget at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and then completed his doctoral work in Psychology at Harvard University where he did research on normal and atypical development. He also worked with Seymour Papert at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and continued his post-doctoral training with Dr. Howard Gardner at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education. Dr. Wagner was previously Assistant Professor of Psychology and Education at the University of Rochester, and has published numerous articles, chapters, and abstracts related to infant and child development. He has lectured internationally on a variety of topics related to infant & child development and developmental disabilities.
